View south from the pool across the bay to The Grand Hotel in the far distance on the corner of Thornton Road. Promenade railing packed with spectators but only a few people actually swimming in the pool and one getting out. A handful of boats resting on the sands as the tide is quite low. Large adverts - one for Bass beer.
