Priory Church
1920s
Looking south from above the sandstone church. Church has square tower and large belfry (eight bells) below a pyramid shaped slate roof. Graveyard in front of church. Tall cross, on left in graveyard, is a War Memorial. The restored old Priory Chancel to the left of the church. The old Chancel was re-roofed in 1817 to become a lecture room for the theological college.
