The river Leven viewed looking upstream (north) from close to a large weir. On the right bank stands a large mill complex with a tall chimney. On the left are a row of three and four story buildings framed by a mature tree. In the foreground an embankment divides the river from a smaller channel with a sluice gate which separates it from the main river.
