Looking north along Whitecroft, row of cottages and various buildings border the left of road. Seven children are playing with a skipping rope in the road. Another youngster is in a pram at the side of the road. Lady leaning out of upstairs window and three other people in doorways of cottages all watching the children play. Washing (possibly stockings) drying on garden hedge. Pram in garden. Dog to left.
