Bare Village Bare Hall

Looking north along Bare Lane, two substantial, joined, double-fronted houses with ground floor bay windows stand in their own grounds at right-angles to the fairly narrow lane to the left. In front, two large trees show the very first signs of spring. Two children wearing warm coats walk towards the photographer, one bowling a hoop, while other pedestrians and a horse and rider may be seen further down the street where a very large residence is behind a substantial wall.
