Looking west along the end of Station Road, lined by stone-fronted terraces, towards its junction with Belle Isle Street and Workington Main station beyond. In turn beyond that, a tall chimney and the cathedral-like building of the iron works. Children play in the street which has horse muck in several places and a cyclist heads towards the station among the pedestrians.
