A Corporation Bus Outside Clarkes Arms

A Ford Model-T bus bearing the arms of Barrow Corporation (their first, in pristine condition) stands outside the Clarke's Arms Hotel, having completed its journey from Roose tram terminus. A gas lamp stand against the pillared, ornamental wall, beyond which and behind the garden, the triple-bayed gable of the hotel has a window open on the first and second floors and a woman looks out of that on the first floor.
