Looking east at a substantial ivy-covered, limestone-fronted house, one of the highest in Ireleth. There are four windows at the front on the ground floor, two in a bay almost hidden by ivy, two on the first floor and two in a pair of dormers on the roof. Telegraph wires follow the bank and hedge-lined road from the village.
