Bardsea
Early 20th century
At the south end of Bardsea, looking north up Main Street towards the village centre, two large houses on the right dominate the image with smaller cottages beyond. As the road bears right a horse and cart emerges round the corner in front of a fingerpost direction sign with a warning triangle on top. Behind, roofs of two houses may be seen in front of a backdrop of trees in full leaf. On the left in the foreground, is a limestone wall with a 'Tea' sign, on the gable of a building, peeking over.
