Bardsea

Early 20th century

Looking east up to Main Street, Bardsea from near the Malt Kiln. Cottages of Braddylls Terrace on the left, many ivy-covered, follow the curve and rise of the lane towards the junction while the right side of the lane is edged by a low limestone wall with the field on the other side at a higher level. A large building - the Braddylls Arms - is at an angle on the right of the junction while, on the left, a church spire is visible above the roofs. (See 9186)
