Bardsea

Early 20th century

From a raised field viewpoint where the two branches of Main Street join, looking north up the hill from the beach into Bardsea. On the right, a house is shaded from the afternoon sun by a large tree. Behind, creepers cover the front of a double-fronted house with porch, a slated roof in need of attention and further slating to protect the western gable from the worst of the Irish Sea weather. Further up that side of the road are more houses, the first, with villagers chatting outside the front, having three stories and the second, a simple porch.
