Looking up the hill (Smithy Lane) at Bank End towards at least 2 heavily laden timber carts descending towards the camera. Three horses on the first wagon are harnessed 'line astern'. The carter is stopped, and looking at the camera. Two camera bags rest on the wall on the left. Trees are leafless. Cottages and barn/smithy on left up hill.
