Heslop Beam Engine
Early 20th Century
An ancient, ramshackle beam engine, probably used for raising iron ore and iron ore miners from below ground. At least 2 boilers are providing steam. Brick buildings beyond, with the hillside behind them. Industrial chimneys rise upwards, a couple to a great height. A narrow gauge railway is in the foreground.
