Wasdale Head Church

Early 20th Century

Dedicated to St. Olaf, the church is reputed to be the smallest in England. This picture includes the stained glass, often partially hidden behind the altar decorations. There is a section bottom right which refers to 'the prosperous reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria' with a date, probably referring to the restoration in the late C19th. It is similar to 9420, but taken from a few steps further away.
