A view north from an elevated position at the south-western tip of Coniston Water. There is a large L-shaped house in the centre, and Dow Crag, Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam are clearly visible. There are pedestrians on the road. The lake stretches away into the distance, with the island at Nibthwaite distinctive.
