Looking North West from the lakeshore at Ferry Nab. Seen through a gap in the trees the Far Sawrey to Bowness-on-Windermere steam ferry is approaching the landing ramp. This is a cable type ferry and the two cables can be seen above the water. There are two or possibly three cars on the ferry.
