View of 4-6-2 tender locomotive, Sir Aubrey Brocklebank at the granite quarry at Beckfoot in Eskdale. Driver and five well-dressed men in an open coach. This image taken from the quarry side of the track looking west. Built in 1919, it was the railway's flagship locomotive on passenger duties. In 1927 the engine was dismantled and used in the construction of the new River Mite locomotive. See D421
