The Lodge Arms, Torrisholme
Mid 1920s
View east along Bare Lane towards the junction with Thorpe Avenue. The Lodge Arms on the left is followed by a terrace of housing. The stone terrace on the right has a continuous porch over doorways and bay windows. The old Ordnance Survey maps mark the first building on the right as the Post Office. The Lodge family were from Bare Hall.
