Tannery and Harbour
Mid 1920s
View west from above the Tannery in Scotch Street from what looks like an old colliery wagonway below the route of the Loop Road. To the right, St James’s Church and Beacon Mill by the harbour. In the centre the lighthouses on the North Pier and West Pier either side of the Outer harbour. To the left, the Candlestick Chimney and Wellington Pit. Terraced houses below track are Gore’s Buildings.
