View west towards the Langdale Pikes from above the road after Chapel Stile. On the left, Lingmoor Fell coming down to the valley, with snow on Bowfell beyond. Loft Crag, Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark, with a dusting of snow, are central and the ridge from Blea Rigg is on the right. Oak Howe farm is across Great Langdale Beck.
