Haverigg Pool
Mid 1920s
A view north to Black Combe from the bank of the River Lazy near Seaview at low tide. On the left the Methodist Chapel and houses on Poolside. Central is the bridge over the river, Caine’s Cottages and the road to Steel Green and Hodbarrow mines. Three men are leaning on the railings and two children are by a sailing boat drawn up on the sand.
