Prince of Wales Dock, Workington
Mid 1920s
View across the River Derwent from the bridge to the outer dock pier. A small fishing boat and a larger ship are tied up alongside. A line of coal wagons from St Helen’s Colliery Siddick stretch the length of the pier with two steam locomotives behind them. There is a square stone tower, small cranes, two travelling cranes and the very large crane on the far side of the dock.
