Early 20th Century

View north along Bootle main road (now A595). The tower of the church of St Michael and All Angels stands to the right, separated from the road by the church grounds boundary wall. The tower partially obscured by trees within the grounds. To right a low wall with iron fence form the corner of a road junction, beyond this rows of houses border the road into the distance.
