Rydal Water

Early 20th Century

Looking North West along the south shore of Rydal Water. A tree frames the left side; a path runs from behind the tree and follows the curve of the shore line around the water. A small headland juts into the water and points towards the tree covered Little Isle and Heron Island. White Moss Common at the far side of the water with the distant fells of Grasmere Common beyond.
