Wastwater from Scafell
Early 20th Century
Looking West to Wastwater from the northern slopes of Scafell above Lingmell Gill. On the left steep slopes descend down to the water which curves away to the Southwest around the base of Illgill Head. To the right the fells of Buckbarrow, Middle Fell and Yewbarrow rise above the water and the Wasdale road can be seen running along the north side.
