Viewed from close to the base of Broad Stand. Dramatic scenery looking down the steep south side of Mickledore to Upper Eskdale and the surrounding mountains. The River Esk winds across the flat valley below, an area known as The Great Moss. The crags of Scafell are on the right with a man just visible at the base of Broad Stand.
