Southport Promenade

Looking Northeast, a wide road bordered by pavements and formal gardens on the left and large houses/guest houses with gardens on the right. Further left a large lake is crossed by a pier with pavilion buildings at the east end. Cyclists, motorcyclists and cars on road, numerous people out walking or sitting on benches facing the gardens. The Southport Monumental Obelisk can be seen beside the left hand pavement.
