Carlisle Cathedral, Norman Arches
c. 1930
A view of one of the Norman arches inside Carlisle Cathedral. Stone columns support the arch and further columns rise past the arch and up to the higher roof. Through the arch can be seen a font with an ornate wooden font cover. On the wall to the left are two carved memorials and below these an iron radiator. Part of a second arch can be seen beyond the columns.
