South Harbour, Whitehaven

Whitehaven harbours looking north. The ‘Old Jetty’ with small light tower runs from left corner across to inner harbour lock. On far side is the long North Pier, railway wagons stand on this and an inner pier, beyond rocky cliffs rise above North Beach. Various industrial buildings with tall chimneys built around the coast, rows of houses on hill above. Second headland in distance with other industrial buildings and chimneys.
