Sailing Trawlers FD 122 & FD 25 Off Knott End
1910-1914
Two sailing trawlers outward bound past Knott End with a crowded Knott End ferry. FD122 was the dandy trawler Surprise II built by Liver & Wilding in 1910. Sold to Belgium 1920. FD25 was the ketch Ariel, built in 1874 and first registered at Yarmouth. Registered at Fleetwood 1888, broken up 1914.
