Steam Trawler FD44 Arley

1919-20

Steam trawler passing through Fleetwood docks. In the background there is the steam tug Cleveleys, Arian, FD130, two more trawlers, a freighter and a large sailing vessel. Arian was built in 1910, registered as FD130 in 1919, broken up 1937. Arley was built in 1914 and requisitioned as a minesweeper based in Malta. Returned to her Fleetwood owners in 1919. After serving at Dunkirk she was mined in the North sea in 1945.
