Narrow Gauge Railway Eskdale

Looking west down Eskdale from the fellside above Fisherground where 'River Irt' heads a full train of visitors up the valley on a bright summer's day, running between the shrubs and bracken of the fellside and the dry stone walled fields. There are many trees around the valley and the masses of Muncaster and Birkby Fells loom in the background.
