Ulpha Church In The Duddon Valley

Looking east across a field in the Duddon Valley on a sunny day at the white-rendered face of a small church on the other side of the dry-stone slate walls. The church has a timber and slate porch, above which is a mount for two bells and a cross. In the churchyard there are many gravestones seen against the background of tree-covered slopes and fells. The title 'H57/211. Ulpha Church, Duddon Valley' has been added to the negative for postcard printing purposes.
