Looking southwest across the valley floor at the northern end of the Seathwaite settlement, fields and trees are laid out interspersed with farms and cottages. Beyond, bleak Walna Scar rises; right of centre the Walna Scar road winds up towards the higher slopes. The title 'H67/211 Seathwaite and Walna Scar' has been added to the negative for postcard printing purposes.
