Newfield Hotel Seathwaite

Looking southwest at the stone built Newfield Hotel in Seathwaite, outside which three motor cars are parked and a grey, trimmed red, phone box stands. To the left of the hotel a whitewashed cottage stands. On the right of the image, a slate and wood canopy runs along a building on the while on the left a cottage and farm building stand with a trailer in front. Behind the buildings, mature trees and fells form the background. The title 'H68/211 Newfield Hotel, Seathwaite' has been added to the negative for postcard printing purposes.
