Looking slightly east of north at the outside of the sweeping curve of a road where a sequence of smart, detached and semi-detached houses stand in their gardens behind railings along the pavement. Trees and bushes on each side of the road frame the image. No vehicles are visible. Lamp standards display the white circle with black diagonal sign to show that speed restrictions to be expected normally where street lighting exists do not apply in this case.
