Rydal Church
mid-20th century
A portrait view. Looking west through the closed double gates of the churchyard at St Mary's church, Rydal built in slate, substantially covered in ivy, to the Gothic revival style, popular in the nineteenth century. The church has a square tower with crenelations in the medieval style and is surmounted by a flagpole.
