The Boathouse At Wray Castle

mid-20th century

Looking from the water at a slate-built, Gothic revival boathouse with two arched entrances, each with an arched window on the floor above; that on the left has a narrow 'slit' window above, too. The roof parapet has crenelations giving a military air. On the left a slate wall supports the trees and lawn while a small jetty is to the right of the boathouse. Mature trees abound - pine and deciduous.
