Coniston Water and The Old Man

View from the southern end of Coniston Water quite high above Lake Bank and the road to Torver looking to the narrowing at Park Nab. In the far distance are the Fairfield and Helvellyn Fells. To the right, the slopes of Selside covered with Grizedale Forest come down to Peel Island . To the left are Dow Crag, Goat’s Hause, The Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam and the Yewdale fells.
