Lake Road Ambleside
Mid 1930s
View north up the road into the village near from the top floor of the café on the edge of the car park (see H255A). On the left is a wooden building with a big Antiques sign and then open fields. The spire of St Mary’s and the end wall of the catholic church of Mater Amabilis stand out with the fells of the Fairfield Horseshoe making the skyline behind.
