Boat Landings At Lakeside Windermere
Mid-20th Century
Looking north up Windermere from the lakeshore outside Lakeside Hotel. Both lake banks are tree-covered and the central Lakeland fells are prominent at the other end of the lake. Prominent in the centre of the image, several piers protrude from the bank with some boats moored while a rowing boat heads back to its mooring. The image is printed with 'H462/212 Boat Landings, Lakeside, Windermere' for postcard purposes.
