The Promenade At Grange Over Sands

Mid-20th Century

Looking slightly east of north on a summer's day down a beach access ramp at a sandy foreshore and a promenade which gently curves to the right. Families relax on the beach or take the air on the promenade behind which there is extensive tree cover, extending up the slopes behind the limestone town buildings. In the distance, a train may be seen on the extreme right as it leaves the station and heads east.
