Sedbergh
Mid-20th Century
Looking north at the end of the front of substantial three-storey building with an unusual gable protrusion on the side with another gable on the front and a dormer visible on the slate roof where substantial chimney stacks are also prominent, one surrounded by minimal scaffolding. A creeper covers much of the left end of the building, set in ornamental gardens, separated from parkland by a low hedge with many mature trees beside. A substantial fell, Winder, rises beyond the trees. (cf H516)
