Wasdale Head Hall

Mid-20th Century

Incorrectly titled Wasdale Head Church in the catalogue, this is looking east from the lakeshore across a field and through three mature trees at Wasdale Head Hall Farm, the only home on the south-east side of Wastwater, made up of a traditional roughcast Lakeland home, stone barn and more modern farm building. To the left, trees and fields on the valley floor quickly give way to the steep slopes of Scafell and Lingmell. The image is titled 'H518/203 Wasdale Head Hall' for postcard printing purposes. (cf H519-521)
