Looking north from Red Bank, covered with bracken and trees, at the lake and then the valley north of Grasmere which is dotted with trees around many of its fields. Fells either side of Dunmail Raise present a more forbidding image beneath cloudy skies. The image is printed with 'H552/216 Grasmere and Dunmail Raise from Red Bank' for postcard printing purposes.
