Tarn Hows
Mid-20th Century
Looking north at Tarn Hows from an elevated position among bracken on the fell above the road. Three small conifer plantations are grouped around the tarn which is backed by low craggy fells while the high Lakeland fells are ranged further behind. (cf H555AX & H555B)
