Image of a print, looking west-southwest in winter, beneath thick cloud at the end of the flat floor of Great Langdale from a slightly elevated position on the northern fellside. A substantial, whitewashed, 'modern' home sits on the fellside above the slate buildings of the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. Higher, particularly northern-facing, slopes of the crags in the background have a light snow covering while valley trees are bare of leaves.
