Looking east-northeast along the north bank of Wastwater towards three of the steeply-sloped high fells of Lakeland. Bracken occupies the foreground, giving way to a plantation of coniferous trees in the middle distance. Clouds fill much of the sky and their shadows pattern the fells beyond the lake.
