Looking west. A white painted two storey cottage stands alone at the foot of a steep fell side. A stone wall surrounds the building and two tall trees grow at the rear. Mountains in the background dominate the cottage. The mountains are Bow Fell in the centre, The Band to the left with Bowfell Buttress visible between the two trees.
