Looking north west to jetties and boat landings along the lakeshore at Waterhead Ambleside. Several small motor launches and many rowing boats are moored at the jetties or pulled onto the shore. Large hotel (The Waterside) at head of the bay to the left. Trees grow along the lakeshore and cars parked along the road under the trees. More buildings to the right. Loughrigg fell in the distance.
